INFRARED
2023, Ongoing I work with a photographic medium called false colour infrared. It lets me see light just outside of our visual range than many other animals can perceive. The process was first used for environmental storytelling by Richard Mosse who used the fact that infrared makes turns plants bright pink/red to talk about deforestation, which inspired me to do similar. The artificial pinks and chemical blues of Infrared also make it a useful tool in surrealist photography which I create as well.
